Hillcrest Park – Playground:
- Partially gated with an entrance at the front and back of the playground
- Restrooms at the Hillcrest Recreation Center – entrance from the parking lot
- Look for the stone staircase or path up
- Woodchips
- Fun features: rope ladder, bear with monkey bars underneath, small rockwall, log balance beam, monkey bars, rock cave, treasure map, boulders, snail and frog spring riders
- Covered picnic tables and BBQ behind the playground
- Kid swings are in a separate area, to get there continue on Valley View past the Hillcrest Recreation Center to small parking lot (2hr parking lot) – swing set, restrooms and entrance into the trails
- Continue on Valley View from there there will be a few parking spaces
- Continue on and take a right on N. Harbor Blve and right on N. Brea Blvd. and a quick right turn into the parking lot (the first turn you see). As you enter the parking lot will see the duck pond & Korean War Memorial on the right and enter the next parking lot to the Hillcrest Park Stairs and Lions Field.
