Where are the Splash Pads in Orange County?
There are 25 Splash Pads all throughout Orange County, there is even a new one that just opened at Adventure Playground in Yorba Linda. Scroll down to learn more about each OC Splash Pad, this is the ONLY place you will find images of all the Splash Pads & the playgrounds – click the park name to see more pics & info.
When are the Splash Pads in Orange County Open?
Splash Pads are typically open seasonally during the summer (Memorial day until Labor day) but there are even some like at the Irvine Spectrum that run all year round – check each spot below for opening information.
Please note that there is no guarantee the Splash Pad will be on and working while you visit, but most of them are near playgrounds so plan to stay and play! You can also call the city before you plan to go to check if the Splash Pad is up and running.

- Purchase a day or season pass to the Aquatic Center with a heated lap pool, kid’s splash pad and baby pool & recreation pool! Covered picnic tables near the splash pad/kid pool area.
- Check their website for updated hours and pricing. Save money with family pricing which can be used for to up to 5 family members.
- Right outside you will see a path from the parking lot to Vista Park – Playground.

- Miraloma Park has a small skate park in front of the splash pad area (push the button on the pole to start the water), Family Resource Center with restrooms and just past there is a playground and picnic tables.

- Ponderosa Park playground right next to the splash pad with various climbing nets, play house and swings, covered picnic tables behind and restrooms close by
- Skate park a short distance from the playground, there is also a Community Garden, Family Resource Center, Ponderosa Teen Center & Anaheim Library – Ponderosa Branch
- Parking lot does have a 3hr limit
Brea
Central Park Village Central Park

Fountain Valley

- Called & was told the splash pad should open towards the end of June
- Mile Square Regional Park has three playgrounds here, one playground right next to the splash pad. Other things to do here include a nature walk, archery Range, lake and Wheel of Fun Rentals where you can rent bikes & Swan Boats
Fullerton

Atlantis Playcenter Splash Pad

Heritage Community Park Splash Pad

- Splash pad is fully gated and open during Spring Break and Summer
- Sprayground will be open daily from 10:00am-4:00pm. The Sprayground will close for the season on Labor Day.
- Crown Valley Park playground is nature themed with boulders and slides, picnic tables, restrooms

Mission Viejo
Montanoso Recreation Center Splash Pad

Adventure Playground Splash Pad

- Free to visit during public hours
- Plans to keep the splash pad running throughout the year during the warm months
- Reservations are required to visit on Sat & Sun

- Splash pad on daily & open to the public until day camps begin in Mid-June through August and then will be open to the public at 5pm on weekdays
- Water slides (must be 48″ to ride) are open on the weekends and evenings after summer camps (mid-June to August)
- Adventure Playground also has a playground with net tunnels, water pump with mud area and side by side zipline and sports field
- You can bring folding chairs, blankets and towels
- Restrooms and outdoor showers available within Adventure Playground
