Summer Trolleys

Where are the Free Summer Trolleys in Orange County?

There are 6 FREE Summer Trolleys in Orange County: Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach & San Juan Capistrano. Plan to hop on and off at various locations & explore for the day.

All the Trolleys have Trolley Trackers to know when the next trolley will be at your stop – look for the links below.

Here is the BEST PART – 5 of the 6 Summer Trolleys connect to other city Trolleys. All you need to do is hop off & get on the next city’s Trolley!

Tips

  • Check below for more info about each city’s FREE Trolley! Some are open air, while others are not
  • Plan ahead with some options for parking (some cities you do need to download a parking app)
  • Plan to download the Trolley Tracker for some cities or have the tracker link easy to access on your phone, know when the trolley will arrive
  • Pack light, make it easy to hop on and off and explore!
  • If you plan to bring a stroller choose one that is easy to fold up, there may not be much room on the trolley (depending on how crowded it is)
  • Always look for the Trolley signs – they will show you where to board the trolley (wait here)
  • Plan for timing – during peak times in the summer, some trolleys may be full & you will have to take the next one. Make sure you don’t miss the last trolley of the day.
  • Always as the Trolley Conductor if you aren’t sure you are heading the right direction & its always nice to thank them if you enjoyed your ride! Laguna Beach has various trolleys with different routes, so this may be a good one to just confirm you are on the right Trolley.
  • See the map below to see how the San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, San Clemente, Laguna Niguel & Laguna Beach trolleys all connect! You can get off one & hop on another trolley to explore more cities! Due to the distance the Newport Beach trolley does not connect to the others.
  • Make it an adventure & see where it takes you! The day trip adventures are endless!
