Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary:

-Currently closed- just acquired by the ENC (Environmental Nature Center)

Natural Science Center with interactive hands-on displays, live and mounted animals as well as information about the plants and animals in the sanctuary. Take the paved trail to the sensory garden or one of the dirt trails to look for animals and plants.

  • Nature trails: few short, less than a mile, easy to moderate trails. Trails inside the sanctuary and trail for the sensory garden are paved for wheelchair access. There is also an upper dirt trail that leads up the mountain (slight elevation gain) and overlooks the facitlity.
Mission:

Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary has a dual mission to support science and environmental education and to act as a sanctuary for the preservation of the local native habitat and wildlife.

Admission: 

Free but recommended donation is $3 per person

School Tours: 

Be aware there are school tours that visit throughout the year so there may be times the center is closed.

Groups of 15 or more or for home schooling tours please call (714) 649-2760 to set up a reservation.
