Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary
Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary:
Acquired by the ENC (Environmental Nature Center)
ENC Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is a 12 acre wildlife sanctuary located in Modjeska Canyon. It includes a natural history museum, trails, and a bird observation deck. It’s a great place to quietly observe nature! Join their email list HERE to be informed of upcoming programs and events at Tucker.
No dogs allowed here to protect the wildlife, dogs leave scent and excrement as well as cause loud noises which scare off the wild foxes and other animals who call Tucker home.
Parking
Limited parking is available. Parking does get more challenging on the weekends, and “drop in” Tucker guests will be able to park on a first come first served basis, unfortunately competing for space with those using the Harding Truck Trail. Reserved parking for registered program participants is available if the public parking area is full.
Restrooms
Restrooms are available on site for those visiting the Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary
Fees
No fee to visit Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary but donations are appreciated. Programs there do have fees associated with them. Sign up for their email list, HERE, to be informed of scheduled programs, or check our Events Calendar.
