Home to over 100 exotic species of reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids from around the world.
What was once started a small family owned pet store called Pet Country began to transform as the owner dedicated part of the shop to reptiles. There was space to view the reptiles as well as he sold reptiles and all the proper supplies to care for them.
The store started to gain in popularity so they transformed the store into Prehistoric Pets to focus on just reptiles. It has now expanded to a 5,000-square-foot facility that includes both retail and a zoo.
Visitors can purchase food to feed the tortoises & pond turtles, they can view all the reptiles including alligators! & you can pay for special hands on experiences and presentations as well.
You may even get lucky see a reptile roaming the store or watch some of the reptiles being fed.
You can also find their videos of the reptiles on YouTube and on social media with the goal to educate viewers on each of the reptiles that lives there.
