Laguna Niguel Regional Park – Main Playground:

  • Close to the entrance of the park

  • Fun features: standing seesaw, pretend play door & window, spring rider, tall slide
  • Covered picnic tables and BBQ (with sinks) throughout the park

Smaller Playground

  • Turn right when you enter, playground is behind the tennis courts
  • Sand
  • Fun features: pretend play windows, rocky entrance and twisty slide
  • Covered picnic tables and BBQ (with sinks) throughout the Picnic Tables and BBQ close by
  • Dirt trail behind the playground

Walk the lake 

To take a walk around the lake here start from from parking lot F (turn left as you drive in) you can follow the bike path, past a large grass area with picnic tables. The path goes around over half of the lake but be aware it does turn into the road as you get to the other side. Check out our video here.

Drive up the hill to get to multiple fishing spots. Over age 16 requires a fishing license. Lake fishing for trout, (winter only) and bass and catfish, (year round) is available for all park visitors. California Department of Fish and Wildlife rules apply.

Sports Fields:

Fishing, Fitness Equipment, Horseshoe Pits, Open Grass, Par Course along the two mile jogging trail, Sand Volleyball, Lighted Tennis, Bike Trails, Remote Control Gliders Area (Kite Hill – cross the bridge past the tennis courts)
