Winter Fest – OC Fair (Costa Mesa)

November 25th – January 1st

Winter Fest OC includes outdoor ice skating, a nine-lane ice tubing slide, ice bumper cars, LED mini golf, trackless train rides, snowboard simulator & carnival thrills. Also winter-themed bounce houses, arts and crafts, holiday market & seasonal food and drinks. Winter Fest OC features stage and strolling entertainment, nightly Holiday celebration featuring snow flurries, meet & greets with characters, tribute bands, winter-themed photo ops with the giant walk-through ornament, giant Christmas trees & meet Santa! 

Must pay for admission, here are some add-ons once inside:

Night of 1,000 Lights – Sherman Gardens (Corona Del Mar)

December  9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22
6 pm – 9 pm each night – There will be three entry times: 6 pm, 6:45 pm & 7:30 pm. 

Walk the red carpet and stroll through the glistening light tunnel on your way to ‘Moulin Rouge,’ a Parisian dance hall with can-can dancers and French cabaret singers.  Take photos by a classic 1938 Packard 120 Convertible Sedan.  Sherman’s miniature railway – take a trip through time through the Hollywood Hills. Visit Santa in his Miracle on PCH workshop.  Enjoy a quiet drink at The Daisy Speakeasy. The Garden Shop will be open for unique holiday gifts.  Make a wish at The Wishing Tree and then head over to the fire-pit to whip up your own batch of s’mores. Admission: $ 25 Members / $35 Non-Members (Children: 3 & under Free)

Tanaka Farms Hikari – Festival of Lights! (Irvine)

November 25th thru December 30th – Must reserve tickets in advance

Hikari means shine in Japanese, and this holiday season Tanaka Farms will shine with over a mile of twinkling lights!

Grab a hot cocoa & take a cozy Wagon Ride around the festively lit farm that will take you to the “Land of a Thousand Lanterns!” Once off the wagon wander through the light displays, with photo ops, visit with the Barnyard Animals, grab some food from the TANAKA GRILL, games, Arts & Crafts, meet Santa for a photo! (all activities are priced individually.). Enjoy live music on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights! Admission $30per person, $10 for parking – Children 2 and under free Military is FREE.

Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train (Orange)

Take the train through the lights to Santa’s Village for games.

Sawdust Winter Fantasy (Laguna Beach)

Anaheim

Holiday Carnival & Santa Arrival by Helicopter! To kick off the festivities, Santa arrives and every child will have the chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and have their photo taken with him.

The magic of winter will be brought to Anaheim Town Square with real snow sledding, pony rides, carnival games and bounce houses.  There will also be North Pole Cookie Decorating and holiday crafts for the kids.

Santa’s Jolly Trolley & Tree Lighting

The Jolley Trolley will be making stops at the park locations listed below to hand out pre-packaged treats for kids up to 12 years of age.  Santa’s elves will also be collecting letters to Santa.  Please include your mailing address on the letter so Santa can return a special letter to you.  At our last stop, La Plaza Park, from 4:30pm to 5:30pm the annual community tree lighting ceremony will be held with carolers, hot chocolate, and cookies. The tree lighting will be held promptly at 5:15pm.

Jolly Ol’ Santa Claus will plan several return visits to his Workshop. Along with Mrs. Claus and the elves, Santa will greet all visitors with a cheerful, Ho! Ho! Ho! and a peppermint candy cane. You are welcome to bring your camera and take pictures of your visit.

Children are invited to “strike a pose” with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Santa’s Workshop on Saturday and Sunday evenings only. All are encouraged to enjoy Santa’s Village any day of the week.

Brea

December 1st – Christmas – Brea Lights choose to drive to see the lights or parking within Eagle Hills is limited to one side only with several of the small small cul-de-sacs restricted on both sides. Signs will be posted and parking regulations will be in effect from 4pm – 10 pm. Should you decide to walk, it is strongly advised that you park outside the tract. Depending on the evening, it could take you upwards of 45 minutes to get out. FYI

Public Parking is available at the Brea Sports Park located just east of the lights on Birch St.

Dana Point

Free parking & free to visit! Begins November 16th! Dana Point Harbor

Dana Point Harbor Lights – Stroll along and see the lights by the harbor, free parking & free to visit! Click for the map. Look for the Santa with the surfboard, the “Merry Kiss Me” sign, walk along the candy cane lane of lights & take a picture with the Candy Cane Hearts. Find the decorated trees & look for the whales in lights.

November 19th – January 1st – Holidayz at the Park (Great Park in Irvine)

Free parking & free to visit! Holidayz at the Park features an outdoor light display in the Palm Court, inviting guests to stroll and snap photos. Snap a selfie or a family photo at the Great Park Holidayz Pop-Up. Explore various winter themed backdrops as the Artist Studios is transformed into a pop up museum. Pop-Up is open Fridays from 5 to 9 ppm, and weekends from noon to 8pm
